Counselling Services
We all have had that experience of being in a conversation with someone and you can tell they aren’t really getting what you mean and they’re waiting for you to stop so they can tell you what they think, the conversation almost becomes a battle – that feeling is the exact opposite of what I’m going for in my counselling room. Instead, you get space to talk, and think, and breath. To me your so much more than a list of issues, problems and labels and I know that even though you might feel lost at the moment it is you who holds all the answers to your questions and it is you who has the best solutions – you might need a little help to step back and see how things look from a different angle.

In person Counselling
I have face to face counselling appointments available in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. I work from my garden office which is a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Online counselling
Online appointments are available to anyone who is in the UK. You might have noticed, there is a drive towards the advertisment of counselling online with large platforms promoting this form of therapy. Studies have shown that counselling online is as effective as in person sesions.

Time limited counselling
If you are looking for short term therapy that is solutioned focussed and aimed at a narrow issue range you then we can work together on a short term basis, typically people would come for around 6 - 8 weeks. If you want to achieve the quickest results then working with a tight focus, a commitment to exercises outside of sessions and implementing change in your day to day life can help.

Long term counselling
Longer term therapy is more open ended and allows for a gentler pace, with time to explore who you are and how the past has impacted the present in a more hollistic and deeper way.
